Had fun yesterday at The Ridge, a great local track on the Left Coast where MotoAmerica raced a few weeks ago.

The CR still such a blast (no pun intended) to ride!

The BMWs could outpace me down the straight, but in the corners - - not so much (Thanks Erik!)

Thanks for looking, and ride safe!

Paul

Based on background blur, looks like you are wringing your CR out as it was intended to be ridden!

Why did you change helmets? Other one getting too damp?

WOW! Looks great.
Never had the 2008 1125R on the road race track, only the Land Speed Record strip BUT you have got me thinking. The Ridge looks like a gorgeous track with recent new tarmac.

Steve - It's a tight track, relatively short straight, where I got up to 139, but the first pic is a really fast section of the track (turns 4-5) where I feel really comfortable pushing it. . . Good eye on the helmet swap: Shoei is my RF1100(?) I've had a bit too long, the white one is a KYT that I tried on, great visibility and at least 1/3 lighter than the old Shoei.

George - Spoiled up here on the Left Coast, the Ridge about 40 miles away, and Oregon Raceway Park about 200. Arguably two of the better tracks in the US. I'm no racer (or track day junkie for that matter), but it is a ton of fun to let these beasts run free... Highly recommended.

Thanks again for looking!

Hey Paul:
Used to have an Shoei RF1100. Had it too long too. Just picked up an Arai Quantum X. Excellent fit, less noise. I think you'd like it too.

We've got a couple of tracks out here you'd enjoy. Road American and Mid Ohio. But good speed tracks with tight corners and all out drag racing areas!

Enjoy your track time. In this case, i wish i was 30 years younger.

Paul.

Way to rock the Teknic leathers! Wish mine looked that good anymore. Crash tested.

Yep, think Teknic folded back in 2012 or 2013, they were a fire sale at STG (Sport Bike Track Gear) in 2014 - - so old they don't even have a "speed hump" on the back. . . Minor rash damage from a low-side back in 2015, but still look pretty good.

Ride SAFE,

Paul
