A little update on the 2010 crate motor I put in my 1125 a year ago. Now has 4200 miles and 152.5 hours on it. Runs great. No sign of clutch weep. Looking like Stave was right about LiPo battery not liking temps lower than 10C. If I leave it sit over 2 days it'll likely not start the bike. I see a H-D Sportster battery in my near future. If I ride it at least every other day it's fine.

The shunt alternator charging system on virtually all motorcycles will kill a Lithium ion battery, regardless of its specific chemistry in short order by overcharging. Yes, a smart battery tender will extend a Lithium battery's life, but all Lithium batteries require temperature control and a battery manager system to last.

10C° or 50F° should be no problem for a Lipo battery...in good condition !

While SoCal isn't normally known for cold days, a 3:30am start time in the Winter can very easily be in the low to mid 30F°.

My EBR was my daily driver while I was still working. about 85 miles a day !
The easy way to help a Lipo battery get up to speed...just turn on the ignition switch to turn on the lights for 45 seconds to a minute. THEN hit the starter button.

As I said, IF your battery is in good shape, this should work just fine.
I put over 35,000 miles on my EBR before retiring.

Though to be honest, I did have a regulator fail and burn up one battery in that time period, but otherwise, I never had any battery problems with holding a charge...or...be able to start...the "engine" (not the bike !).
