Was riding on my CR and got caught in a shower of rain so our group of bikes pulled over and sought shelter at a small shop front we passed. While we were waiting for the rain to pass it got very heavy and our bikes copped the full brunt of the shower. When we got going again I noticed the speedo had dropped out and left hand indicator stuck on flashing and tacho needle flashing.I was escorted by 2 other bikes close at front and rear to hide the indicator and to give me speed indication. After about an hours worth of dry weather and riding it corrected itself and all returned to normal. Has anyone else has this same issue? Seems water may have ingressed into the indicator switch or part of the harness somewhere. Cheers from Australia

I've had the issue you had with the blinker. It went away and hasn't returned. Hopefully your issue will go away too.

Had a similar issue with my 08 1125r. After washing bike, left signal would stay on for a while. Thought at first that switch assembly might be wet. Disassembly showed no moisture. Took a while to find out that it was probably wiring and clear connectors getting wet under left side bodywork below seat. Always dried itself out after a while.

I have not had this problem, but I went through all my connections and dielectric grease them.

My 08 1125r doesn't do this yet my buddies 08 1125r does every time he washes it the left signal light and just the front flashes. We just figure his bike is haunted lol. Also my 09 1125cr does not do it either

Thanks for all your experiences. Seems to be a familiar but not regular fault across the 1125 platform?
