So... I think I know the answer, but now just need to confirm.

Will the 1190 forks fit inside the 1125 triple trees or do you need the 1190 triples as well?
And if so, does the 1190 triple tree stem/bearings fit in the 1125 frame?

I believe the triples do not mix and match since the 1190 triples are offset forward by a few mm, but as pairs, if the I.D. Is the same they should just slide in.
I am aware that the front wheel/axle will have to be swapped to an 1190 set as the axle threads are larger on the 1190 forks.

Any info would be great. Thank you guys!

You can use the 1190 fork on the 1125. Even the triple clamp fits...I use it on my 1125

Now correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t EBR produce upper and lower race triple trees specific for the 1125R before the 1190’s even existed that looks identical to the 1190RX/1190 race triple trees.

Do you (or anyone) know if they are the same part?
Do you know if yours are EBR racing 1125R or stock 1190RX trees?
Is the lower also installed? (In other words the stem fits in the frame without issue)

I just use the upper triple clamp with the part number J0105.1B7ZBG Rev D. It's an EBR part...

If you don’t think motorbikes aren’t designed to mimic the female form then you aren’t paying attention. Sweet pic conaway!

JJ

EBR RX upper triples fit perfectly to the 1125 lower triple. For racing they also have uppers with insert bushings to vary the rake angle.

Here I used a 1125Cr Lower triple on my 12R with 1125Cr forks, bearings and races are the same on all three (I have R, Cr and Sx bikes)

Excellent! Many thanks Conaway and Xbpete.

Going to swap in some 1190 forks while I can get them cheap.

Side question: Do you all think there will be a significant difference in the ride quality/performance when going from the 1125 forks to the 1190 forks?

Absolutely! The 1190 fork is a big piston fork that responds much more sensitive. In addition, this can be better optimized.

Yup! Cr forks are good, great improvement over the earlier 43mm forks on my 12R I bought in 2005 I did the conversion when I found I could not source Ohlins. The EBR forks are superior. If I did not have an Sx I would certainly upgrade my Cr, but she is sweet enough as she is and I have the EBR option any time I want. I tend to ride the Cr more out of the three...I freakin love that belt bike!

Conaway,
I just picked up a cr. I am interested in a picture of your bike, side view please.
Looks to me like you have full fairing? I don't see anything in parts manual I have.
Thanks
