G’day all, just trying to figure out where abouts on the bottom of the motor is the best spot to place a jack to lift the front end? I’m using a rear paddock stand already, and the bike is fitted with an aftermarket exhaust. I was thinking of using what I’m assuming is the oil pump housing (circular & flat on the bottom).
New to the 1125 but used to ride an S1wl.
Thanks in advance for any advise

That will be super unstable no matter where you jack it up on the engine. The CG is right there and will make the rear too light.

Removing the front wheel? Try hanging the upper triple from the rafters or an A-frame ladder with tie-downs

I use a pit bull stand, with a pin for the lower triple tree. Combined with a pit bull on the swingarm, both wheels are off the ground, the bike is 100% stable, and both wheels can be removed.

I've used a ratchet strap around the garage rafters, fished thru the top triple clamp on my XB, my CR and my RX. Same method works on all Buells..!

Along with a rear stand, like has been mentioned.

Note - most any rear stand can be used, it just needs to be...widened a little, at the lift points. Been there, done that..!

thanks for the advise everyone, I was worried about the strength of the top triple clamp for lifting, but I’ll give it a go with my engine hoist.

The top triple will be a totally fine lifting point.
