Guys, do I need to take the fairing off to get to the electrical connectors for the mirrors? Or is it possible to reach down in there and disconnect/reconnect? Maybe someone with small hands? I can't tell how long the mirror pigtails are. In other words, where the connectors are.
Thanks for any hints.

Once the mirror is unbolted, there should be enough flex in the fairing to get the wires.

Hope you have tiny hands! It’s kinda a pain, but they have clear rubber covered Weathertight bullet connectors, mine were zip tied down below the instrument panel and behind the headlights... loosen and remove the nuts holding the mirrors on, Let them dangle, and there will be enough rooms to pull the wires out.. found that you have to pull-and push-only one wire thru the small hole at a time with the rubber boots on them .. and when putting back on, be sure to be careful with the wires, there’s a small channel in the aluminum mirror/fairing breach, so they don’t get pinched when bolting the mirrors tight

Thanks guys. Got it done. Simple 2 minute job but yes small hands necessary. Hard part is pulling the bullet connectors apart with one hand (no room for 2 hands) in that small space below the cluster. But it's possible.
