Sound familiar to anyone? Is it a problem with the ignition switch or a low voltage (battery) issue? A fuse maybe?

(Dash doesn't come on in either run or park setting.)

Check your grounds and battery connections.

Start with fuses and if it is a "R" then the wiring between the harness and the ignition switch, known issue, do a site search. Good luck.

+1 for the ground.
Recently I was servicing the bike and missed reconnecting a ground. I could hear relays click when I turned the key but dash was dead. It was the BIG ground connection back/bottom of the frame next to the fuel pump. But a heads up, there are at least two other ground points besides that one.

Just to let you guys know what it was:

Start with fuses and if it is a "R" then the wiring between the harness and the ignition switch, known issue, do a site search. Good luck.

This turned out to be it. One of the wires (red/grey) was completely disconnected/worn through.
