I have a T-rex rear stand but the swingarm slides back on it very easily, which lowers the axle hole and can make it impossible to fit the wheel back on.

What are you using for a rear stand and do you have an issue with the swingarm sliding back?

I use a black widow with spool attachment no sliding ever.

I have a Pit Bull for the rear of the race-setup 1125R, which engages brackets bolted to the underside of the non-original swingarm. I think the swing arm is a Buell Racing part, but I need to go back through the paperwork that came with the bike to be sure.

The race prepped XB9R came with lifts with the Buell Racing decals on them. The rear lift for that one engages spools on the sides of the swing arm. No sliding on either one.

What about something like this? Looks like you could still access the pinch bolt with it on the stand and still get the axle out.

Fresno, not sure if that's the exact model, but yes. When I bought them, they included the paddle brackets and spool brackets, I'll check for the model number

Hmmm. I haven't look too hard, but the one rear stand I see from Venom is 13" at the widest point. I think 15" would be the minimum for our swingarm.

This looks like it's for you:

That one has paddles.

The one I use is meant for spools, and I have spools on my 09 1125cr. Works great.

So Joe, can you measure your venom stand and see how many inches across it it? My T-rex stand is just at 15" and I had to bend the top pieces outward a bit to get there. It's a tight fit.

I just might have to drop the two bills on the pitbull stand. YIkes. The swingarm as always slid a bit on my T-Rex rear stand, but this last tire change it slid more--to the point where the axle hole was too low for the wheel. So in my infinite wisdom, I tried to lift the bike slightly by the bottom of the muffler in order to pull the rear stand back into place and raise the swingarm at the same time. Well, it didn't so well. The wheel-less bike basically fell off the both stands and was only held off the ground by the kickstand and muffler which somehow was caught on the floorjack.

It's a miracle the bike didn't hit the floor either when it fell off the stands or when we were trying to get it back on the stands. That is something I never want to repeat to say the least.

Fresno, distance between paddles, with springs removed, is 15 inches; there is also a little bit of "slop" that might give you another 1/8th space

Ok so getting closer. I found the Venom rear stand "for Buell 1125R" with the same part number as that Joe quoted above.

However the single review on Amazon says it doesn't fit. Here is the picture provided. It looks like the stand is too small. I just wonder if this rear stand is the 13" Venom stand which seems to be more plentiful out there. IDK.

Fresno, I can tell you I used the stands several times on my CR; also used them on my Scg but that's a different animal.

The venom doesn't fit right out of the box, but only takes a little stretching of the arms to get to fit. Been using same one on XB, 1125 and 1190

Pit-bull front and back, well worth it.
2008 stock swing arm no spools.
Pit-bull fit nice and secure.

Yeah, I am 90% going to buy the Pit Bull stand. I am just cheap and the Pit Bull is about 4x more than the Venom, but when my wheel-less bike had fallen off both stands basically due to the swingarm sliding on my current rear stand (and my lame attempt at fixing it), I would have easily given $200 to undo it at that point.

I picked up an 08 1125R in TX that had swingarm spools. The original owner had it in for service and they routed the gas tank breather line incorrectly and it damaged the original swingarm. They replaced it with a 2009 swingarm and painted it to match the 08 frame. Probably aren't many out there like that!
