If you have a vacuum leak at the connection of the throttle body and the "IAC" Idle air control valve,I have a quick fix. I ended up using a 1/4 inch ID x 1/2 inch OD fuel line, to take the place of the original grommet. I cut the length slightly longer than the original grommets. The only difficulty I ran into was trying to get the tubing in the holes of the TB. I ended up using a small plastic spatula as a, kind of a shoehorn, plus putting some silicone grease on it. I do not recommend removal of the bolt that holds the two sides of the TB together. Loosening it will change alignment of the linkage going to the butterfly valves! All you have to do is remove the bolt that holds the IAC in place.

I thought you were using the NOS TB to steal those connectors?

Good info.

I put the new TB on, and was just thinking of what I could use to replace the old grommets. I had a small piece of fuel line that fit perfect! When I put the other NOS TB on the 2008, I am going to replace those stock grommets with fuel line. I think they will last longer, and have a tighter seal.
