Will a motor from a 2009 1125r fit into a 2008? Had the motor blow on me (bad valve adjustment when i bought it) and i am just trying to figure out the most cost effective way to go about repair. Not sure if i should just swap the motor or do a rebuild.

it should bolt right up, tho there have been some recalls and few minor changes. 5th gear, charging system, hydraulic clutch, etc

you might could swap all the goodies over and end up with the best of both years
