Well after looking through 194 threads that came up for cell phone mounting options, there has only been one thread that had a solution. Has anyone successfully mounted their cell phone on their 1125r and would share their method?

here's a mount ...it ends in bracket to assemble to your handle bar mounted mirror...but wait there's more ( because your mirrors are not mounted on your handle bar!...)

so there's a hole in the chrome stem nut on top of the triple clamp...neeeding to have this screwed into it...

and I would buy one of those silicone security bands... just in case...

a long time ago I built these I use it to hold my radar detector it mounts on the same bolts that hold the mirrors on...

Please don't text/talk while you ride... now that's it's warming up we're losing almost a rider a week down here ...hopefully you're using the phone for directions and not communications

IMHO put the f'ing in a pocket and leave it there till your parked. Do the ride for real.

No. Google maps rivals almost any hardware GPS. It's "real", really good.

Thank you for your suggestions. I use my phone for listening to music and gps. Sucks to have to take it in and out of the pocket all the time. Plus there's no need to spend on extra gps systems with how savy phones are these days.

I've had good luck with the Ram mount X-Grip for the cellphone holder, and a standard ball mounted to the stock mirror hole's (I have a CR).

I used the ram mount that is sold for multiple sport bikes. The one that mounts in the center. It’s not made for the 1125R. But I made it work. I filed down the stub that is under the 1” ball. It’s aluminum so it files down easy. I made sure if fit easily in the hole. Then I went to Home Depot and bought 10-24 threaded rod, stainless steel nylon 10-24 nuts and stainless steel 1-1/4” washers.

I measured about 11-1/2” of threaded rod. I put a nut and washer on the rod and through the top hole of the Ram Mount ball end. Under the cluster and fairing, the rod pokes through. Put a washer and nylon nut and tighten everything up. Works perfect.

The Ram Mount was $15 bucks and change. I spent $7 bucks at Home Depot.
