I got some parts from a member to do a high bar conversion on my R, to include the switch. The key was broken in the pillion lock cylinder on the donor and it sounded as though the member would essentially have to destroy that cylinder to get at the key chunk, so I want to use my lock cyl. from the R in the CR switch ass'y. to do one key swap. Possible?. Seems like it should just be a turn the key, push a pin or something in type of deal, but I couldn't find info in the service manual regarding this. Thanks!

The ignition locks for xb /1125 have a back plate that is kind of riveted together ,so only drill the heads off for opening them and later drill a small hole for some tiny screws.

At the moment i have two blast ignition locks that i want to use for a project.
Have also two different keys ,so the plan is to try to lock pick them and see if it's possible to make them work with the keys i have.

Already asked a local locksmith ,but he was not helpful at all!
So going to try it myself.
