I know there are many ways to get lower pegs on a 1125r, but are there any stock-types, meaning with rubber inserts, not all metal?

Buell Firebolt 1" drop pegs work, with a little work. I'm using Knight Design 2" drop pegs. I do have to be careful of my feet when hauled over. They are all metal. Do help a lot and I have no complaints solid metal wise. They're a solid product.

The more upright XB Lightning Pegs Are 1" lower. the XB Firebolt pegs are the same height as oem 1125.

I think there was some rubber over-molded pegs in the P&A manual, but good luck finding a set of those for sale.

next best is the XB_S pegs if you want to have a 'stock' look. KD pegs are great and I think come on the 1190's, so I guess they are now 'stock'

I'm trying to dig up a pic, but you might like the 2009/10 Ulysses footpegs. They changed the design on them, they are textured and are grippy. They have a 1" drop like the Lightning pegs.

Here is a closeup of a later Uly footpeg. I'm not sure if it is what you want, but they are nice and grippy.

I have those on mine.. they're nice : )
and look good imo
plus, you can usually find a pair of these for much less than you'd pay for the after-market options.

Yes, those black Uly ones are my next best choice if I can't find any that look like the stock ones with rubber inserts.
It's just that to me, all-metal pegs look like they belong on a dirt bike.

look at a Suzuki V-Strom's pegs ( DL1000, I had a 2003 for awhile, great bike ) ...I don't know if they are lower, but you can buy just the rubber inserts (Bike bandit /Partzilla)...with a little machining you may be able to make them work with the Uly pegs.HTH
