I am doing a rebuild, what are some of performance up grade worth doing under $2,500? I am thinking of the EBR big bore kit as a up grade.

The big bore kit gives you a nice meaty torque curve, no doubt.
Make sure you have a calibration available for your configuration before you pull the trigger.

contact Rodrob if he still visits this site, might want to use the google above to search stevel and review from his posts what he has learned about the engine design...

Well I am a street rider not a track racer. I have, and do use the Google search, sometimes it is just easier to post a question. I was looking for responses like Snacktoast posted. And thanks for the link, but I had already looked at it. At this point I am leaning towards EBR Big bore kit. But first I need to figure out what failed, to cause my valves to hit the piston!

The Dean Adams exhaust was a great boost for my otherwise stockish 1125

I would get his exhaust in a heart beat, if I just had not replace the muffler on my Barker. When I bought the bike it came with a Barker exhaust.
