Can anyone tell me if this is the stock one known to be problematic?   Sprintst Posted on Sunday, September 27, 2015 - 09:05 pm:        Yes, it's a known problem, hence the improved EBR or Oberon parts Did mine about a year ago with the EBR kit, works great, no issues   Nuts4mc Posted on Monday, September 28, 2015 - 10:58 am:        the OEM part was built with "confused" materials...the piston was harder than the cylinder...once the piston got "cocked" in the bore...it seized and started to remove material from the bore, thus ruining the sealing surface...no sealing surface=leaks. I know you can get the set from Sears and Home Depot .
