Doing clutch slave swap. Am replacing the stock one with an Oberon performance one.
Can anyone tell me if this is the stock one known to be problematic?

Yes, it's a known problem, hence the improved EBR or Oberon parts

Did mine about a year ago with the EBR kit, works great, no issues

the OEM part was built with "confused" materials...the piston was harder than the cylinder...once the piston got "cocked" in the bore...it seized and started to remove material from the bore, thus ruining the sealing surface...no sealing surface=leaks.

I believe HD/Buell also made a kit (most likely the one used to fix the problem under HD/Buell warrantee)...P/N X2086.1AM...the HD/Buell parts changed the materials into the proper applications....mine has been in a few years ...so far it seems to be holding.
