After all my searching I cannot find anyone that has put the tail section of an 1190 on an 1125. I like how the xbs tail looks on the 1125cr, but if I can find the 1190 tail for a decent price I'd probably use that. But I'd use the 1190 air box too. I'll have to do some photo chopping when I get home.

It's not like the 1190 parts are that readily available...

Pretty sure the subframe is close to "bolt-on" but requires massive relocation for all the electrics.
I have seen it on 2 or 3 1125s.

Airbox will not work, 1190 frame is way different there than the 1125 frame. Also a totally different bottom tray.
Of course anything can be made to fit, airbox would be a bitch.

Excuse the hijack...it's indirectly related, sort of, in the sense of making things fit.

Zac, I imagine you've seen a lot of mods. Have you ever seen or heard of an attempt to put a Harley big twin motor and tranny, like maybe an FXR drivetrain in an 1125 frame/swing arm?

Or maybe a right side drive tranny in an XB chassis?

Just thinking out loud here, knowing a lot of butchery would be involved.

I have an S&S 145 looking for a home...

If you have access to Facebook one of the guys over in Italy mounted an 1190 tail onto an 1125. At the moment, there is an 1190 tail on eBay.

I actually have both sitting in my garage, and they are going on my 1125.

The airbox shape is close enough to work. A little trimming with a rotary tool and it's good to go, major dimensions are identical. The tabs require fabrication.

The subframe is as simple as posted above.

On the airbox, it is a pla polymer and not abs, idk wtf ebr was thinking with this, the airbox is too thin and brittle to be an acceptable part. They appear to have been processed well but just a poor material decision imo. I will probably replicate a fiberglass part for 1125/xb fitment later down the road once I perfect fitment on my proto.

Easiest is do a search for Typhon.
Pegasus race team in Europe built with special parts from Buell R&D before the H-D shutdown.

I bought pegs from the guy who has the subframe for sale. Paul is easy to work with.

Here are the pics, Pierluigi is a friend of mine on FB.

MrSuperbuckets claims to have put a Harley big twin into a XB.
