Spondylolithesis forces me to sell my bike. It is no longer a pleasure to ride, but uncomfortable and its parked 90% of the time. Listing it for 5300.00 It has only 6900 miles on it. Has like new Roadsmarts on it and they are an amazing tire. My last ride last summer was in a downpour and they kept me glued to the road.

Has the following;

De-noid
K&N filter (Oil and air) and I have used mobil 1 oil only
Tidy tail
Bar end mirror with block offs in stock holes
Jardine pipe and matched EBR race ECM
Custom heel guards for rider and passenger
Stock fairings (though not currently mounted)
HID lighting
Comes with T-Rex bike stands front and rear a brand new Corbin seat and all the stock components that were removed, IE exhaust, heel guards, as well as some extra oil filters (K&N). All recall items were addressed by the HD dealer in Boise, so no clutch weeping etc.

I discovered the left front fork seal leaking and bought all new seals for both forks along with the oil from Al at American Sport Bike, just have not put the seal on/in. It has always been in my enclosed trailer stored on a battery tender or covered up in my barn in between usage of my trailer. PM me if your interested and I will send you some pictures. Thanks for your time fellas.

Just sold my 09 CR with same miles and slightly more mods for $5k. It took 3-4 months to sell it at that price.

Good luck with your sale.

by "stock fairings" are you saying the optional factory side fairings, or did you pull off stock body parts??

Color?

HID highs and lows?

Terrys1980- Thanks. Hope to.

Sprinst- The optional factory side fairings. Sorry I did not clarify. I took off the stock license plate atrocity and put a tidy tail on. That's the extent of "factory body part removal". Oh and the stock mirrors. Its black. HID's high.

Thefleshrocket- Yeah, its no cake walk. I work to keep my core strong, but its a challenge the older I get. Getting older is not for whimps.

Troy, good luck with the pain. Every year it gets a little more.
I stretch a lot and sometimes one of my sacrals will re-align. that feels so good.

Seems my back pain started a little later than you, I was in my 50s.
60 now and I think a lot of my pain is quelled with Tramadol(very low-grade opiate, no fuzzies) or Lyrica.
Trying a new one, gabapentin that seems to work almost as well as the tramadol and it's cheaper/easier to get.

Hope you can sort out a way to keep in the wind.

Zack

Zack, I spent some time on Lyrica, which is similar to gabapentin, and found it made things worse by masking the warning signs that I was overdoing it.

Any painkiller will do this to some extent, but the Lyrica seemed especially bad in that regard.

I've only had my Buell for a few months now, and have suffered a lot of pain because of it.
Some from riding, and some from saving the bike from falling off an elevated lift table...

Epidural injections (hadn't had any for years) have helped, and I'm back in PT.

I may have to either buy an R, or convert this CR with a fairing, as I can't tilt my neck far enough to see ahead in full tuck without serious pain.

I tried a couple of speed runs yesterday sitting more upright with my new full face helmet, couldn't get over 130 without feeling intense strain in my upper back and neck, and am paying for it today.

NVBuell, if you were closer, I'd take a look at your bike, but I'm in Florida.

Zac- I have had facet injections once (wont do that again) and have used a host of modalities to alleviate pain. I went to MO and did some spinal decompression therapy ant that was incredible. I was working out 3 times a week to keep up my core, getting message therapy, ultrasound and adjustments along with the decompression therapy. I felt like a million bucks. Some time has passed, with moving into a new home and all the heavy lifting associated, not getting enough rest etc and that has taken its toll. I use alot of natural anti inflammatories (MSM, hyaluronic acid, borage oil, turmeric, boswellia etc and they have helped, its the neglect that has done more damage. I recently started using Agmatine Sulfate. It has shown some great research for back pain. I have an inversion machine, if I use it regularly, it helps. Neglect is the problem for me. Riding just aggravates it. If I can sell it, great, if not, guess it will sit until I figure something out. Thanks for the advice from a fellow sufferer.

Nvbuell, what form/brand of hyaluronic acid do you use?

A chiropractor had me try out a version he was adding to his product line.
Called Runovia...for sore winners.

Never been fond of cutesy names for serious products, but he said it was highly recommended by sports med people he respects.

It is a patented formula that is all vegan, which is not important to me.

I tried it twice, for two weeks at a time. I experienced unpleasant side effects both times, and gave it up altogether.

Been tempted to try another form.

What issue(s) did you have with the facet joint injections?
