Question for any techies who know about exhaust tuning, I have a Remus pipe on my 1125cr running the ebr ecm but don't like how long the exit pipe is, would shortening it up 100-150mm change performance performance/ tuning much? |

Longer exhaust does the best job building horsepower and torque from mid-to-high RPMs. A shorter pipe generally delivers more horsepower and torque from idle to the mid-RPM range. A bigger factor involves the length of the primary tubes, any stepping in size, and finally the length of the collector. |

Thanks EB, the primary tubes etc obviously would stay the same but am guessing Im better to either change to a different exhaust or leave it as is. |

Why are you wanting to change it? Sound or performance? |

Mainly for looks Dean, dont like the long exit pipe on it, Id love one of your exhausts, my Mrs has the RT4 on hers, but its a little loud for me, and now I cannot reprogram my EBR ECM easily with EBR not currently up and running. I did have a barkers in my last CR which i quite liked as it performed really well, but didnt like that it needs repacking. Also considered the torque hammer 2 kit but very expensive out of Europe. I am in Australia. |
