hello guys just confirming my worst case here I had my bike worked on by Harley mechanics they replaced a slipper clutch and was out of time afterwards .now supposedly they put it back in time but now it starts 5 secs later quits starts again throttle a little bit blows out black smoke even when riding when I gun it does same also when people are riding behind me they say my exhaust doesn't smell right. is it still out of time or can a ecm be rest?? I have a racing ecm on it....looking for answers please help |

Take it back. Can't reset the ecm. You can change some of the settings, reset the tps, but they didn't repair it properly. |

Also, go back to high school so your English teacher can smack you upside the head--that sparsely-punctuated run-on sentence was absolutely painful to read, and I feel like my inner pain should be matched by some outer pain on your behalf. |

Sounds to me like your HD dealer may have re-flashed (loaded the latest s/w rev) your race ECM. This would not be good for your bike if that happened. |
