HI Guys, Im having a hard time getting the injectors out. Is there something Im doing wrong? I looked in the manual and it looks like you should just unscrew the two bolts on each one but the bolts on both my injectors just seem to turn and dont back off? If there something I need to do first? Help appreciated as soon as poss... Thanks again... |

Hmmm ok well I took my Mrs's bike apart (2010 1125r) and had a look at hers and the bolts come out easily, so the previous owner must have overtightened the injector bolts, im thinking there must be rivet nut in the throttle bodies possibly that are turning, more frickn money to spend, may as well go buy some throttle bodies now.... |

The injectors sit in the intake flange, not the throttle bodies. Here is a cheap set. http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-2008-Buell-1125-R-1125R -intake-tubes-boots-manifolds-and-map-MAf-sensor-/ 271939135784?hash=item3f50d5e928&vxp=mtr |

Yeah just found this out, managed to get it apart further, will grab the ebay ones if Puzzled doesnt have any. Thanks Shawns. Def looks like someone has either overtighten them or put locktite on them and the brass insert is spinning around. |
