That thing is sweet as hell, looks like I might have to pick one up. Really like the flag style too.

Looking at your eBay page, I'm a bit confused about the perimeter set. Is there some type of template to use to make sure that the gaps are set right or do you place the middle first then the perimeter?

I have family in Poughkeepsie, could I save the shipping and pick them up instead?

Thanks and great work.

Thanks guys!

If you used the black perimeter kit on a red air box, you would see small red gaps in between the main punished emblem and the perimeter. I designed it with a .1in space between (that's like 3/16in). I though about offering the perimeter kit in bright red as well as white. It's hard to match paint codes without having the bike or a physical sample in front of me. If anyone here wants the perimeter kit in red or white, just send me a message and I will do that for you.

Sure, you could have it picked up to save on shipping. I'm just south of New Paltz.

I have some other designs in mind...wanted to see if there was much interest in these first. I think I will make up a Punisher one with the Texas flag next...

Any design requests?

Germblast:

Sorry, I really didn't answer your question. I will be making up a detailed pictorial for installation of these on Monday. The Punisher emblem goes on first, starting with the bottom piece. Next is either of the two upper pieces (they butt tight). The perimeter goes on next "by eye", trying to maintain the .1in gap.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve on this, I'm all ears.! Thanks again for the replies. : )

Thanks for the explanation on the application. I completely understand it now.

I wonder if you could supply some sort of reusable spacers when applying the perimeter.

I have an 08 1125, i wonder how it would look if the perimeter was the blue color of the frame. Just an idea.

Thanks again

Correct banner style has the field of blue (union) on the left, right?

That is true, but then again, it would also not have the stripes run vertically as they are. I think this way is more correct given that it is supposed to depict the flag that's been rotated 90deg clockwise (if you look at this from the left side of the bike, the flag looks correct the way I've done it).

I dunno'... I considered it on the left initially because that's what our brains say it "should" be...but then I realized that it would really make the flag look incorrect given the direction of the stripes...

True, but I really don't think this design "works" unless the stripes are running parallel with the long teeth of the skull...ya' know?

Ok, thanks for bringing this to my attention! I did some more research and it turns out that the field of blue SHOULD be on the upper left when displaying the flag vertically in this manner (see youtube "The US Flag code Part 7" at 1:45).

I will be changing up the design tomorrow!

Thanks again for the insight.

Ok, I've changed the design. I have also realized that I can make the skull emblem in (2) pieces instead of (3), so there does not have to be a vertical seam anymore. It conforms well still because of the type of vinyl I use (3M Controltac) and because the polyurethane resin is quite flexible...

I don't have any swing arm protectors designed at the moment, but I could work on that next... : )

I've added a few new styles to the eBay listing (#221846869535)...still have quite a few more in mind...

Thanks again!
