Hello

I am since three days happy owner of a Buell 1125 CR 2010 and I love it. But currently I have following behavior:
The bike governs at 8500 RPM so I am not able to use the full power of the bike. Does someone have any idea?
If it helps I have also an complete exan exhaust system which still was on the bike.

Thanks in Advance!

Best Regards,
Bernd

You did not say what gear the bike was in when you hit an 8500 rpm limit.

Have you de-noided?

in the first, second and third gear I know it but it the others I don't know.

I don't know what de-noided is.
Where I can have a look for that?

look for oil breather line interfering with throttle linkage, it slips down sometimes.

One of my upper throttle body clamps was interfering with my linkage. Food for thought.

AFAIK, only the French version was limited in HP.

Best bet is the breather hose interfering.
Remove outer and inner airboxes, find the breather mid-right side.
It should be sticking out of the base by 1/2-3/4 inches, 12-19mm.

Don't pull too hard, it's other end is hard to get to.

<edit> Go into Diagnostic Mode by pressing Mode and Select while turning key to ON or Park.
Cycle thru sensor values until you reach TPS percent, you should see 2-100%.

When your looking at your tips data in the cluster in Diag mode you need to make sure that you have the on/off rocker switch flipped to on. You will not get the full 2 - 100% swing if the switch is In The off position.
