Well, I have had her on the trickle charge for the last few days so the battery is fine. Go to start her and I hear the click of the sounds of the fuel pump and the click of the relay but nothing else. Any suggestions?

So nothing when you hit the start button?

Or is that when you hear the click, when you hit the start button?

A trickle charger won't really charge up a battery, but it should maintain the charge that's already in the batt. So I wouldn't assume the battery is OK if it's just been on a trickle charger.

I'd put a voltmeter on the battery leads and see what the volts are when pressing the Start button.
-- If the volts drop below, say 8V, the battery may not be fully charged or it isn't holding a charge.
-- But if the volts don't drop appreciably, then something is likely not connecting in the Start circuit and needs further troubleshooting.

Start with the above battery test IMO. If that shows good numbers I would try swapping relays from there, and checking grounds.

Headlight bulb out? Fuses? I had a headlight go out while riding once, went to gas station to fill up and when I went to restart the bike it wouldn't start cause the headlight was out and blew the fuse.

Are all the wires good at the ignition switch? They are a known to break.

How long has it been since you last rode it? Was it starting and running OK when last ridden?

Sorry guys, I was unable to access badweb for a few days. The lights are all good and bright and the cluster gauge is operating well. When I turn the key to the on position I can hear the fuel pump prime and the when I push the start button, I hear the click sound. Nothing after that. Just a single click. I will try the volt meter and get back to you all. Thanks for all the ideas.

Oh, and due to the weather, its been about 3 weeks since I have ridden her. She was operating really well then.

So it sounds like you need to check the wires at the starter or it's the relay in the box next to the battery

I have to vote for a battery issue. You have the volts but not the current. Do the batt check or borrow a fresh one and see if it cranks. I've seen some really weird battery things during my 50 years of riding.Cheers.
