I am looking forward to the dealer doing my 24K mile valve check, plugs, and what else????

how hard are the cam chain tensioners to do?

You're looking forward to it? LOL!

Sorry. I thought that was funny.

24k is major service so, air filter should also be replaced. Or washed if it's a washable filter.

Why would you need the tensioners done?

Probably eager to be reassured that the Buell noise is not in fact a ticking time bomb wedged between his legs.

A "ticking time bomb"?

C'mon!

I know, I know! It's not a Honda. LOL! But it ain't an India Infield either! There are more than a bunch of 1125's with high mileage and their motors have held together. As long as you don't beat on it it should keep going.

I picked up the oil pump cover O-ring I ordered last week on Saturday. The thing looks like a thin slice off of an over-sized piece of shrink wrap.

I was expecting a molded contoured piece.

does anybody know what that is about?

THX in advance
