I just bought a 2008 Buell 1125R with 260 miles on it. I want to get it serviced before I put any real miles on it. I have called the local Harley dealers in my area and none of them will touch it...plus they dont know of anyone who can? I am in the Palm Beach Gardens ,FL area. Does anyone know of a M/C shop that has experience working on these bikes? Thanks in advance for all your help.

I don't know if they have much experience, but I know Rossmeyer HD sold Buells a while back.

www.petersonsharley.com

I did a track day and pitted next to the owner's son Drew Peterson. He was on an 1125. I'm sure they are qualified. Just make sure the tech you get assigned is trained.

There's also one in Port Charlotte across the state about 2 hrs from you...Black Widow HD.

Would an EBR dealer be able to work on it?

Hey I can give you a hand you can service it yourself. Once you get the learning curve down and know what you need to do.
Denoid check clutch an water pump. Get set up to do flywheel mod No big deal

What do you do to check the water pump? I have the FSM but not sure what you are looking for.

Kenm123t, there shouldn't be any need to undertake a rotor swap on a 2008.

Wy do you really think this will his only Buell? Stator changes may be needed Brice had problems with his 2008 running down the battery in traffic its just one of the Dark Buell arts to be passed down! lol Ever change Isolators or a shock on a Tuber?

Imblasted always glad to help any Bueller its not that bad prep for frame removal is the worst part. Have the shim kit ready and don't drop shims in the wrong spot.
