If I were reading the specs, I'd buy one. If you showed me a picture first, not so much.

That's funny, I'm exactly the opposite! I'd buy it if I saw it and rode it... but just looking at the specs I'd get distracted by the low power (which isn't what this bike is about).

I love the way it looks...

I like what I see with this bike. Seems like it would make a great work vehicle that would get awesome fuel economy, especially if you favored the electric mode. The AWD would be nice too for offroad and subpar weather.

I'm curious to see how AWD will work on a bike. In a car, it makes sense, but on a bike having one wheel pull while the other pushes might make for some interesting riding....

Would a hunter be able to use this?

I think the design is brilliant. Hero will sell thousands, but not so many in the 1st world. I would love to have one, just as a utility vehicle. The odds are you will never see this, as it unlikely to pass all the government regulations of either the US or Europe. I would also like to know its cost FOB. This is just another indicator of how mature Hero has become shedding its Honda heritage. Hero is coming, perhaps not with this, but coming never-the-less and EBR is perfectly positioned to take advantage of Hero's arrival.

Ya gotta love where the Buell shows up in these things . .

quote:

—and has enough grunt to power an optional generator to hook up tools and other equipment when stopped. The LED headlamp detaches to be used as a portable flashlight, too.

Hero says you can even attach plows or harvesters for light farming duties.

Sounds like a tinkerer from Gibsonia . . . eh?

If the price is even close to sane, I would totally buy one. I'd look at it as a dandy backup generator that I can also use to get groceries and to just play on.

I love that beak, looks like it can hold a good amount of weight. In addition to a sidecase and topcase, you can get a nice frontcase : )
