Hey guys, I picked up this engine off of ebay for another project bike, however I realized too late that I already have too many projects and my significant other wasn't excited about adding another to the list. Anyway enough about that, here are some details.

2009 1125cr engine with around 11k miles on it. Pretty complete engine with starter.

The bad: it was in a lowsided accident and one of the pegs poked through the case. Ive been assured the engine is ok mechanically otherwise but I haven't had a chance to run it myself. The side cover is scratched a bit and I noticed when the engine got to me that the shift shaft is bent slightly.
This is a great engine either to repair for your bike or for a custom project like I was going to do. I found a replacement case on ebay for 65 bucks if you want to go that route. Lot of work to replace it but not too much money. Anyway this could be a cheap option for someone and I'm just gauging interest in it right now. I mighthold on to it and do the project later but for my marriage's sake it might be best to let it go now ; )

All I'm asking is to get out of it what I paid for it which was $500. Freight shipping might be fairly expensive on something like this but if you are genuinely interested I can get you a quote. I'm in central Oregon to give you an idea how much it might be.

Here are some pictures of said engine. Don't mind the mess my garage is crazy right noe, like I said too many projects.....

Thanks for looking guys!

I might be interested in the alternator, {rotor, stator and case,} I have an '08 and want to upgrade the alternator..

if the cover is not rashed, and the rotor / and stator are ok, stator can be failed as it will be re-wound

How much, [ please send to, jbryant at tankfab dot com ]

I'm in bend. I just looked up a quote from a shipping site, looks like shipping using usf reddaway to san Jose would be $180.00
So $680.00 shipped and it would be yours.

Sorry to the other poster I'm not really interested in parting the engine out.

Just wanted to check back in with you guys, I keep going back and forth about keeping this engine but I'm checking to see if there is any interest right now.
