Please drop us a line at info@crotchrocket.tv and let us know what day so we can have a count for refreshments and such.
I would suggest a good sun hat and sunscreen as well as your own water. It's supposed to cool off some for the weekend but it's still pretty warm out there. A folding chair is good if your driving a car.
Go here for the schedule -
http://my.wsmcracing.com/ul/file/10-2011%20current %20Schedule.pdf
I am in the BOTT Heavyweight and Formula Twins Heavyweight.
Shawn will be riding Open Superbike and Toyota Cup Formula 1.
Shawn will have his DSB 1125R and we will be doing comparisons Friday.
I'm not going to be able to finish my 1125R in time.
Should be an interesting weekend. Time permitting you will get a chance to sit on both bikes and feel the difference.
Hope to see you at the track!

Jim,

If you ever get out west, you can count on a crash pad - and shop access.

Do you guys race all winter? Maybe it's worth hauling a bike to California...

JD...go here:

there is also a new track near the Az border go here:
http://www.cvmaracing.com/

If you remember the Movie "The Right Stuff"...the opening scenes of Poncho Barnes "Happy Bottoms Riding Club" depicts the Rosamond/Willow springs area.. it is at the roof of the California Desert up against the Tehachapi Mountains..the weather can change in an instant the winds are brutal - I believe Steve (Slaughter) lives in the area...it is not a place for man or beast - just very fast airplanes
(and motorcycles)..if you are passionate about motorcycles - SoCal is paradise
