Just a heads up on the Stator issue. Apparently at Harley/Buell there is no one doing anymore R&D work on this issue. Harley/Buell is just banking on the harness being the fix.

Does anyone have a parts book to tell us the Stator part number of the R vs CR for the 09 models? Are they the same?

Also 08's had a lower output Stator and have less problems. I think there is only one guy with an 09CR so far that had a Stator failure after the fix. I am curious can't Harley just go back to the 08 style stator?

I should be getting my bike back tomarrow.
Although I've been enjoying the ully! the cr is untouchable when I ride solo.
with summer basically here it shoulndt take long to find out if the "fix" with updated harness and virgin stator make it
more
than 4000 miles!
yah its a bummer no one is left at buell to deal with this but I'm not mad at any one !
the guys at service have done everything that can
and customer service got me a
stator quicker than all of you who are waiting
For one sorry but ts LOL
I'm just disappinted that a bike I love to ride maybe can't handle the riding I give
it, well see!
