Some where I saw an Ohlin steering damper for the 1125. Not the cylinder type but the kind that mounts to the top of the triple clamp. Anybody have any information on this? It's not in the Buell catalog.

I found a few posts about it but no pics. Monday I'll call Henry and then go to the dealer to order. Thanks.

That'd be the best route and Henry will be able to give you a good line on what works and what doesn't . . . .

i sold one of the ohlin ones to a customer a little while ago. havent gotten to hear alot of feedback from him on it but first impression he thought it was a pretty slick setup.

i think the one you are thinking of that was posted on her was a a GPR and not an ohlin

However, because he was good enough to point them out I thought I would do the good guy thing and buy through him, he is in the business. But thanks for the tip.

i had today off, i will see what i can come up with tomorrow.

i also am wondering if the firebolt gpr will fit the 1125. i think it would, but even a small difference may cause a problem so guess i will see if i can come up with an answer to that first!

Tim, you're right. Travis at Antelope Valley HD&B confirmed with their race team on the GPR part number. Thanks all for the help.

Dug - Can you post up the GPR part number to make it a little easier for those of us that would like to call them up and order it?

If some of you are ordering a GPR and contact the company, can I suggest that you mention Eric Pinson's name?

Reason is, he's the one racing the 1125R at Willow springs and sponsored by GPR amongst others.

GPR #5011-4028 same as all the other Buell dampers they offer. Interestingly it's the same as the '01 R1.

Buell ~420. The GPR is on top and adjustable while riding. The Buell mounts under the triple clamp. Price and mounting are the only differences I know of.

I think I am sold on the GPR. I work for my local HD/Buell dealer so I would get a discount on the Ohlin's, but it looks to me like the GPR is a better choice. Too bad they don't offer a black / blue unit...

you can become a gpr dealer also. thats what i started working on when duggram and i started talking about the gpr one. that way i can just get them when needed. its not extremely hard. plus if i ever make a decision on it for myself then i can just order the damn thing lol
