Excellent news. 2 days after letting Erik know that parts needed to sort bikes in the UK aren't available in Europe, I get a call from B.UK telling me that the parts have now left the US and are heading out over the Atlantic. Erik (and anyone else who's help sort this) if you read this, thanks a million

Pizzaboy, if you've ever owned a Hesketh, you'd have the top man himself (Mick Broome) bring parts to your workshop and fit them for you while you brew him tea and roll him ciggies (nearly called them fags but you fellas would get the wrong idea)

Jesting apart - I agree with you whole heartedly.

...........and they still cost an arm and a leg BUT, I do appreciate the value of them. Blimey, I nearly came out with a quote from Oscar Wilde then

we are focusing on more mainstream brands. lets be realistic. i could by a motoczysz or a roehr also and have a pretty good relationship with the owner.... at the cost of about five 1125's.

At the risk of speaking for Buell...

Thank YOU : ).

Most likely the next person with this issue won't have to go through the same wait you did and that's a good thing. Thanks for being patient : ).

You can buy a good Hesketh for less than a 1098. I was just being a little light hearted

Oh I don't have any connection to Buell aside from the ownership of an '04 Firebolt : ).

I just figure that's pretty close to their mindset is all : ).

That "mindset" is why I'm sold on Buell - Community, machines AND Company!

Had a call from Customer services today saying that the parts were in Blighty. The dealers should get them this week, sadly my dealers workshop is fully booked up for the forseeable. I'd be happy to do the work myself but I don't think they'll let me.
Hopefully, associated parts like the piston sleeve (that haven't been ordered) have also been shipped to Europe, so there isn't a huge wait if that part is needed.
