I'm not exactly sure. It seems their birth certificates have gone missing. Several of them are well over twenty years.

The basis of CNC machining is electronic motor controllers.
New ones can be fit on to manual machines or existing CNC machines.

Are you attempting to dance on the head of a pin?

Scrapping a ton of cnc units out here due to electronic parts. G&Ls, Burgmaster, Pratt and Whitney and EVERYTHING with a Monarch badge on it.

With longevity in mind too many electronics on an EBR would be a bad thing (especially with their ability to stay in business) I would end up feeling safer on a Kawasaki. A big company will keep the parts available. Ebr..... seems like enough folks are having fun keeping sprockets in stock

NO cell phone, NO ride.

It is all on your cell phone... apps and ecm, etc.

Remove your phone. NO go. Unless you have a dongle cap.
Any problems can be remote diagnosed while you ride....
at corporate, Oh did I mention security?
Free updates for life. Custom ecm yourself, no tech needed.
Immediate service bulletins and recalls.
Part of the ecm/phone thing exists now, as you know.

Mog,
Sounds great! How long do you keep your cell phone? What, no guarantee the app will be available for your new phone OS? Security? What security? People who use smart phones have no sense of true security.

Mog, you are far too old and too experienced to be professing this immature, uninformed point of view. Please tell us it ain't so!

"NO cell phone, NO ride. "

Then no ride for me...

I have a cell phone, but it is of the Dumb persuasion. The best part of my phone? It makes calls. Second best part? The tracking actually disables when I tell it to.

IMHO, cell phones should be turned off when driving motor vehicles. Distracted drivers (on phones) causing accidents is becoming a new statistic!

Agree Sparky. I commute everyday on my S3T and my #1 nemesis is the driver on the cell phone. I've had the CHP use me as a block when splitting lanes, just so he can bust folks talking on the phone.

This is a bit off topic, but just because you turn off your GPS in a cell phone, does not mean it is off and unavailable remotely. The only way to disable that is by removing the battery. Remember, you didn't write that OS and you have no idea what code or function is incorporated within it. Call me paranoid, but big brother is alive and well.

Sounds like this is turning into a Person of Interest episode. The machine has Stevel's number. John and Harold will be there shortly.

And in cahoots with the telecom companies.
