I was in the Sportweels of Jordan MN the other day. While wandering I found the Harley parts container. (there are no HD/Buell parts bikes in the yard, they get snapped up quick).
Recognized Buell parts in the container:
2" inlet factory tube frame muffler good shape
S2 seat pan no visible cracks with both screens still intact ( no tail light)
2 M2 seat pans one with no visible cracks, one pretty rough.
I wasn't going to buy them, but I can provide photos if anyone is interested in any of these. I would be happy to collect them and bring to HC for pickup.

not sure what fit what,so does a tube frame mean only with a steel swing arm or with both steel and alum swing arms? If its both I have a super nice NEW TAKEOFF stock tube frame muff. Its even in the replacement hines box, 2000 M2... Not to take away from scrounger. I think I seen videos where someone took a junkyard stock can and cut it open redesigned the baffling along the lines of a flowmaster and it sounded like no other..

If the muffler had a 2 1/2" inlet I'd have tried it on my S3. I'm not planning to go into the used parts business, I just want to help keep peoples bikes on the road. If a connection helps someone so much the better.
Kim is the one to ask for. She runs the place. Tell her Steve the Buell guy sent you.If you strike a deal ande its needed for me to go locate them again I can happily make a return trip. It won't score you any discounts, but at least she'll know my word is good. I/we could use that goodwill for the brand.

Did you measure the exhaust inlet or just gauge it by eye? I thought all of the exhausts with that style outlet with the mini heat shield on them were 2.5". My 2" exhaust has a little turned down outlet. Nice find though! especially for a 2".

I have the 2" version of that exhaust I'm not needing. I dont have the rear straps, though. I believe mine has the mini heat shield.

I did not measure, and just an eyeball using my super accurate knuckle. Now your making me think I should go back out and pick the lot up if I can get it all cheap enough.

okay I was back today looking at couple other items. I took another better look at the S2 tail, and the pipe. There IS a section missing on the edge of the taillight it could easily be filled, but its not as nice as I originally said. the muffler is Definitely a 2" inlet. and I ran across 2 more items. First an S3 tail section,( some cracks and rash, but repairable, and I got images of the other S1 or M2 tails too.
