Want to raise your XT up alittle like an X? I have an extra XB1200X shock and I'd like to try lowering my X alittle with a XB1200XT shock. Not interested in any money(giving or receiving). Shock is in perfect working order. Let me know. Thanks for reading.

The prior owner of my 08 xb12x was only 5'7 he put on a STT rear shock, worked great, then he raised the forks an inch, with bar raisers. Im 5'9 and left it alone. Just saying.

Thanks for the tip there sgtofkillers. Worse case scenario I'll spend a little money to have the extra shock rebuilt and shortened. Just thought I'd keep it simple an maybe help another Bueller at the same time.

OK, I'm going to try to sweeten the pot. I have an extra under-the-seat heat shroud for the Uly. This is 1 part of the 3 part cooling kit from HD. Don't have the right side scope, or the header shield. The perfect time to put this heat barrier on is when you're changing out the rear shock! You can have it, no charge, if you trade shocks with me. I know, how can you pass up a deal like that??

A lightning long shock will work as well.
