Help! What is the best (least expensive?) way to ship large parts (wheels, frame, etc)? Anyone with experience or knowledge about postage costs is more than welcome to respond. Thanks.

Im done with fedex, $20 to ship a cheese grater from NY to Washington state. Found out later it would of been $5 including a tracking number from the post office.

find a friend with a corporate UPS account, i ship through my local auto parts store, they get a corporate price, usually about 1/2 or less than standard UPS prices. better than USPS IMHO.

i recently shipped a box that UPS quoted at $45.00, only cost $15.00 through the parts store!

Check with FEDEX GROUND. I shipped a heavy frame & they took it as is bubble wrapped for $27. They are contracted out & their prices are better then normal FEDEX. Other then that, compare ups with USPS, sometimes USPS is cheaper.
