The bottom mount is a bit wide - take out center bearing - cut down equally on each side, till fits - replace bearing which still fits and your done. Maybe drop the forks a 1/4". Yes the cbr600 F3 2003 era, the 11.15" shock per the Works website - aee there for verification.

For whatever it's worth, I picked up an Ohlin from a Honda CB919 off ebay and installed it with JUST the narrowing of the lower mount. It sits a little too high (WAY higher than stock) but I like it. My 200LB ass + my 30L Givi and it still rides nice and level.

That is the usual procedure, the belt is still not as loose as a factory set tuber belt.

Shock has to be the shortest available and other years are too long. That is the hurdle on the Blast shock. It's very short and few others are that length and its not real easy (not impossible) to fit in longer shocks. After that you need a shock with the right spring rate.
'Detailed' instructions are posted here at the Thumper side of Badweb.
If you're just looking for more preload, you can add shims to the stock shock cheaply. The biggest hurdle the is finding (or borrowing) a shock disassembly tool. The shim is a $2 section of PVC pipe! A shimmed shock works rather well!
