Looking for older Buell Blast. Must be pretty cheap (around $1000). I don't mind one that needs some work, but must be complete and engine should at least try to run (no seized or badly damaged engine or transmission). I can come get it anywhere in North Texas, and probably anywhere in Texas/Oklahoma for the right price. Must have clear transferable title.

Thanks - I may call the OKC guy. Do you think I would have any problem transferring the salvage/rebuilt title?

As long as it is titled in the owners name, you should be fine. If they can't sign a title over to you, then you might start looking elsewhere. Some states are very lenient when it comes to titling a vehicle.
NJ will ask a million questions then refuse to give you a title if they think you dont deserve one with the information provided.
CA wont give you a title until they see the bike all rebuilt and inspected, but you have to pay all fees first and surrender the paperwork you have (which, if its a ground up restoration, can be a costly endeavor resting on the hopes of getting a title).
Check your states laws.

I am beginning to think finding one in any condition for less than $1000 is unrealistic... you offer is tempting - can you send pictures? Any idea what it would cost to ship from CA?

pending the carrier about $5 or $6 bills usd.
this is for the company's that specials in doing bikes.
mounted on a skid and not touched till delivery.

but yes under one grand will be junk needing cash to fix problems.
i can not get photos to post here. (computer problem at my end)aka me...
will try to get you a link to view..

but this bike is 2001 in red, no body mods,
motor runs great, new belt and rear pulley last summer, takes the curves fantastically, does not smoke, has miles about 30K. i installed a better horn, has two seats (standard / low), good used spare belt, extra plug, boot, factory manual, maybe a couple other items. battery new six months back. back tire new earlier this year, will get a new front this week (on order). and there is a ventura rack mount. short and tall mounts with bag that fits the big mount. can just get two bags of food into the rack bag.
and i keep this bike inside when not in use. i do not ride in the rain.
i try to take care of my stuff.
and as of april 10 2012 has no damage and i have not gone down or dropped this bike.

so if you do buy this bike you can go for a ride the first day and know it will get you there and home...with a smile on your face

I think I have a line in one here in Texas. If that doesn't work out I'll check and see if yours is still available.

Thanks!!!
