What an amazing thing to do on a conventional motorcycle. 300mph is utterly breathtaking I'm sure.

Terribly tragic and a sad loss. I hope someone continues the great quest.

I would like to go fast but not that fast on an open motorcycle. I am not sure that any wreck on a bike at close to 300 is surviveable except maybe in a streamliner. Does anyone know what Bill Warner hit if anything? I have been told that what made Bonneville safe was there was nothing to hit.

Hitting the salt even at low speed can be fatal. Hitting it at high speed which is what, anything over 70mph, who knows. Anywhere between 150 and 300mph I could not imagine.

There is a you tube video of "racin Jason" mcvicars get off at over 240mph. Just some bruise I think.

Hey Paul, good to see you here. Hope you're well.

Remember on the Salt trying to hammer tent pegs in. Solid as concrete is not too far off a good description! Except for the odd rooster tail, lol!
