On my '06 Uly the headlight (both high & lo beam) and horn quit working.Last time I road I noticed the high beam indicator light was on when in the low beam position, switiching it didn't make any difference and I had no light.I also noticed the horn didn't work. Both fuses look good and I have voltage across the sockets.
The bike will light up the dash panel and will crank and start, the running light, brake light and signals work.I have aftermarket heated grips pluggedd into the accessory plug under the seat and they work.
I've looked through the electrical section, the XB section and this section with no luck. Also couldn't find anything in the factory repair manual that helped so I thought I would see if anyone had had anything happen remotely similar.

I'd check the ground behind the headlights.

There's 3 ground wires on the front of the gooseneck. They like to break under the insulation near the eyelet.

100% check the ground behind the headlight on the steering neck. Mine have broken on 2 separate harnesses and caused the same headlight/dash/heated grips issues.

You guy's were right,I had two pairs of ground wires coming out of the harness that had been taken down to two wires. One was ok,the other was broken at the connector and had ridden up in the heat shrink.I put new connectors on both,a slightly longer bolt and star washers in between all surfaces and presto,I have lights and horn! Thanks to all that replied!
