I have had the Uly for about 7 or 8 years now. I keep looking at other bikes, just for something newer, shinier and different but the Uly just won't give me an excuse to buy something new. It just does everything so perfectly for my use, I can't imagine what could replace it. the only things that might come close are going to cost $20,000 and loaded down with all kinds of electronic gizmos i don't want or need. and no room for another bike in the garage.

Yes. Was thinking the same out riding today. The fine handling, low down torque, good vibes, lowish weight and relative simpleness make me wonder what I can replace it with.
And I have been looking as I don't like the heat that comes off the engine, clunky gearbox and too high 1st gear in traffic.
Had the Uly 3 years, will keep it a few more.

just had a nice ride today. Can't imagine anything else as satisfying to ride and practical. I have the XB9 primary gearing. 11% lower than stock and really like it. Just makes the bike more responsive. still cruises easily at 85-90 mph. I guess it will top out at a little over 100 but it's academic since the riding position turns me into a spinaker at that speed.

I love the XB9 gearing. Great in town and Jeep trails. At 70 mph it's smoother at the higher rpm.

This happened to me last year.
Traded the Uly for a, left over, 2016 MV Agusta Turismo. Cost less than 10 grand.

Total bi polar manic compared to the Buell.
But, I do like the electronic cruise control.

Sounds familiar! I had a Cagiva Gran Canyon before the Uly and it was also manic! Attack mode at all times!
