I looked at the facebook photos. They were pretty interesting. What price and denomination is he seeking?

It looked like from some old posts they ran about 299 Euro, and while not cheap per say, the fit, finish, engineering and performance look great to me!!

He wants 399 euros for the plug and play headlight kit, plus shipping. That's approx. $500 USD altogether.

With the ride in a state of tear down, I powered it up with the 12V power supply...

those reflective signs are 150-200 yds away! This thing is WAY bright!! And fantastic cutoff and focus.

Better pics and pics of the assembly are coming!!

It is E coded yes, but its beam is flat and wide in low, and like a barrel of light in high, way better than ANY US lighting by far. With both on against the garage door (neglected to get a picture) you could outline the light pattern with a magic marker it is so sharp. very little stray light, 5000% better than a s***** HID retro kit in a reflector housing (no offense guys). When the bike goes back together this summer, I will get WAY better pics, but you can look on his FB page, there are quite a few on there before and after.

The "right side drive" comment was side-of-road. Some lights flare upwards on the right side, for street signs, where you drive on the right side of the road. Others flare up on the left side of the beam, for the street signs in left-side drive countries.

Any E-code light I've ever used, has a right-side flare for right-lane driving.

Good discussion.

The term I always associated with the various lights that Buell used around the glove was "dumped" . . . either right or left, depending on local convention.

I've still never done my Ulysses . . . it keeps getting moved down the "must do" list. But, I am really hoping to this summer . . . I know I'd be riding more if the bike had lights. Where I am . . .it's simply too dangerous to ride with crummy lighting.

We've ordered 2 new automobiles . . one delivering 7/16 the other 7/17 and ordered them both with LED headlights . . .

I'm a fanatic about great lighting.
