Author Message   Portero72 Posted on Saturday, February 09, 2019 - 08:29 pm:        Finally getting off my duff and into a project I've wanted to do for a long time; putting Uly suspension on my SS for a butcher experience than a TT could provide. I've already got the suspension coming my way, but I wanted to check in with others to see what parts I might need. I'm assuming longer throttle and brake lines will be a part of the swap. But what about a kickstand? How much longer is a Uly stand than an SS? Stock handlebars are already gone, as I switched those out days after I first got the bike. The narrow bend felt like my elbows were being pushed into my ribs. I'll probably go with some dirtbike bend this time around. Just for the record, it's an 08 SS, not the taller 09 and up.
