Running Phillips Motovision H7s, 12v 55w Put them both in and first use blew the high beam, switched to low beam, and blew that right away. Both flickered momentarily before they went. I should add that I had put a rocker switch on the dash so I could operate off road without low beam working. Spliced to hot side of low beam yellow wire. Can't see how that would cause problem, especially with the high beam. Runs fine otherwise, no other perceived electrical problems. It's a 2006 model with almost 76k miles.

Did you put a meter on it?
Sounds like a bad voltage regulator letting too much through.

Agreed. If the VR checks bad then also do all three test for the stator. A bad stator will fry a new VR, DAMHIK!
