That guys rants are so spot on! Amazing, and yes I will be checking out this bike when it comes out.
If it ships with knobbys and sub-100hp, it better be $10k or less as it will get crushed in the market. I would consider a Yamaha Super Tenere over it.
If it comes out with semi-street tires and 150hp, I will stop shopping Ducatis and BMW.
Of course my wife will shoot me if I drop a deposit on a bike this time next year. She will get over it.
I have been calling Uellymae (07 12x) a tweezerglide for a number of years now. A lot less girth than my 96 road king for sure. Dirt glide absolutely fits this newest abomination!

Harley had a great adventure bike. It was called the Buell Ulysses. Then CEO Wandell decided to pull the plug on Buell because it wasn't adding to the bottom line. I just wonder how much this new model will add. Harley is screaming because of sales decline. Maybe they need to thin the herd. Lets face it they have too many models in the line up.
Buell was making a profit and adding to the bottom line. Harley buying MV Agusta and then selling it for a huge loss are two huge mistakes and the third one was pulling the rug out from under Buell! So let me repeat myself, Wandell's an idiot!
Just watched that video. Hilarious. Thx for sharing. What Harley needs to do to differentiate is to offer an optional, bolt on side car that utilizes a PTO out the side of the gear case so now you have two wheel drive like Ural. But make it look nicer. I’d love to see that option
So since this dropped back in September, has anyone seen or heard of any updates?
I'm still curious as to how the final product may look. We all know those old pictures were prototype and they may have even been feeling out the crowd for reaction to a somewhat radical design.
I do a quick google search once in a while, but see nothing new.
I think that IS an Africa Twin headlight...that thing would weigh a TON with the twincam in it, good LAWD. Don't know that I'd want to take it off pavement...
I was combing through the Pan America thread on Adventure Rider. Many guys are hitting up motorcycle shows and none have seen any updates or prototypes on display.
In fact, many say they have not seen the Livewire, which is supposed to ship earlier. If they want this thing on the market as a 2020, they better get the hype machine fired up. I only have small windows to slip a deposit past the wife!
The information that we are getting here at the dealership is that the Pan America and the Streetfighter are "coming in 2020" not that they will be 2020 models. The photos that we are seeing are the same ones from last summer. The dealer meeting is next week so there may be more news.
