My 2006 Uly came with a 2010 rear wheel. Question: are the axles the same for 2010 and 2006? are they interchangeable? Anyone got part numbers? pix?

Is there a parts list/diagram available online?

Thanks guys.

The 2010 axle is a little different, but is backwards compatible with the older wheels. As the 2010 wheel has a 3rd bearing, it is machined a little different for that extra bearing to make contact with the axle. They also coated the 2010 axle black, so it may be easier to remove than the old silver axle.

After the new axle came out, Buell obsoleted and superseded the old axle, as the new one works on both style wheels, but the 2010 wheel requires the newer axle.

Http://TwinMotorcycles.nl has the parts diagram online
