I've been running V-Rod platinum plugs from Harlee since the bike was new.
For the past 5,000 miles or so the Useless has been running terribly with the idle all over the place, cylinder cutting out, all sorts of stuff.
After checking timing, resetting the TPS, blaming the gas, running Chevron FI declogger through it I finally broke down and installed a set of cheapie NGK copper plugs.
Instant start, perfect idle, problem solved.
As a point of reference, the Harlee platinum plugs had 17,000 miles on them. I won't be buying any more of them.

Next is the clutch slipping at full throttle in 5th above 5,000 RPM...

I've been running the Denzo Iridium plugs for the last 20,000 miles or so with no problems. I think regular plugs usually last 10,000 miles and since changing the rear one is a pain I decided to find something that last longer.

On the second set of NGK Iridium plugs, ran the first set 25k miles, with no problems.
Bike was still, as always, returning 50 MPG; replaced them just because...

NGK Iridium plugs are my goto for XBs. I've had pretty good luck with them. I did manage to foul a set one winter day.

Do you guys know the number of the iridium plugs you use? I’m looking for a set for my 06.
Thanks

I use a 9 instead of the 8 on 08 engines.

Watch out for counterfeit Iridium plugs.
