Low beam burned out. Drove home at night with the high beam. It would dim, brighten, repeat. Got home and checked battery connections - good. Opened primary chain inspection cover and sniffed, nothing unusual. Did a search on BadWeb and a bad voltage regulator seems to be a trend with this model. Ordered a new Shindengen Mosfet regulator. Copied xbimmer's mount - Thank you!

First one is shown. Cut out plate on a band saw, kinda rough, but installed it and everything is good! If anyone is interested, I can fabricate the mounts cheaply. Nibble out the plate on a turret press - .090 6061-T6 is what I have lying around. Weld the tube(1X2X.125) to the plate. Put in 1/4-20 nutserts in the tube. Good to go!

Very nice!
Mine has a 12.5mA leak somewhere.
I may have to follow your example.

Nice job.

You know, Roadstercycle should just make up a kit for the Uly's. If he had a ready-made mount and a plug and play wiring harness, he'd sell a ton of them.

I agree, if RoadsterCycle had a complete kit for $200 it would be a no brainer. Nate, let me know if you want a mount. Just need to cover shipping. USPS flat rate box is about $7.00. PM me.
