I got so excited to install my new parts I forgot to take a before picture.
Somehow the left frame puck got scuffed and three chips in the powder coat on the side behind the frame puck.
Found the new frame puck and grip pad things from American Sport and Al shipped them right out.

Looks better than new-thanks Al.

Oh how did that get in there

Dave,

I just bought a set to put on my XT to cover up some scratches. Were they a PITA to put on? From the instructions, it seems more intense than I imagined. Did you use a heat gun to heat up the frame or just do in nice weather after a short ride? Cure time 12 hrs the instructions said?

I just set the bike in the sun to warm up.
Started at the front to align them with the frame puck then pushed them on while pulling the tape back, went pretty good. The trick is to make sure you have them straight.
Yup Walleye from BWCA,had a fun nine day paddling trip.

Funny how a person can tell the region a walleye is caught by its color. Northern MN and Iron Range Walleyes are dark in color.

Ontario walleyes are golden, central MN walleyes are lighter green, and Manitoba walleyes on Lake Winnipeg and the Red River are bright green. (actually nicknamed greenbacks)

Sorry, longtime MN walleye fisherman

True Mark
I was surprised at how dark they are.
Our S.MN walleyes are much lighter colored.
