Just curious to find out how many 1125r`s have been pre sold so far?? Also was curious to find out if Buell was going to invite the guys from super bikes (on speed tv) to one of the inside pass days?? If they would do for you the same as they did for the busa last night you would probably double your pre sales immediately!! Plus it would be cool to see the helicon rip a couple of stunts, 1/4 mile passes, and road races on tv!!!! |

"I can't think of a better way to lose credibility." why? It would be a great way \ place to promote Buell and the 1125r to the main stream. Or is that what they don`t want? |

Superbikes - its a stream, but I would not call it mainstream. I'm sure the 1125 will find its way around. I'm not trying to be demeaning to you Dalton, because I really do not know you. I will say that you are dealing with a group of folks here that may not think too highly of the show "superbikes". To answer your question, I have a deposit down on an 1125R. I guess you can add 1 to your count. |

Lake Erie Buell/HD of Avon Ohio has 3 deposits on their 6 1125R they have ordered. I was in there yesterday working on the numbers to see if I should trade in my 06 XB12Scg. Not sure I want to get rid of the XB though. I like it. The 1125R is too much like any other Japanese v-twin sportbike. I think I want to keep my American made powered XB. It's more of a true Buell. Then add the 1125R to my stable too. |

Coal, I completely understand and as a Buell "newbie" I don`t yet know who sucks and who rocks in the Buell world. I have owned, ridden, raced, sponsored and built numerous KTM, Yamaha, & Honda dirt bikes and quads. Plus have owned several Harleys and Hondas for the street.(Usually have about 6-8 ride/race ready machines at any given time) Plus I have belonged to several clubs: FORR, BACA, HOG, AMA Etc...... I can`t wait to get my Helicon!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been wanting a sport bike for while & now there is a totally kick a$$ AMERICAN made choice!!!!!!! It`s about f****ng time!! Originally I was considering KTM and BMW. I haven`t even ridden it yet and I love it! Also I can`t wait to see fellow 1125r owners out on the road (the battle field) ha ha. Even though I`m a "newbie" I am very interested in Buell`s success and the success of the 1125r and I think Buell should market them selfs everywhere including the "jap chanel". |

Nice Dalton You've certainly found a good bunch here, and a fantastic product to boot. I can't wait my self, I've got a pic of the 1125 on my cell phone! I'm sure I'll be passing out cigars the day I get it home |

>>>I think Buell should market them selfs everywhere including the "jap chanel". You'll be glad to know that no country in the world has likely played a bigger role in Buell's history than Japan. |

I just threw up a little in my mouth w/the thought of a 1125R featured on Stupidbikes. I watched Supergangstas last night.....please...please... don't associate Buell with that rubbish. The host seems well spoken and has class, but, unfortunately that's where it ends. Yo G....peace out y'all. |

How would you lose creditably if the 1125R was featured on Superbikes? |

There was an episode of Super Bikes last season that featured one of Jason's "posse" learning to wheelie at a Buell demo booth. I thought it was pretty cool actually. |

I saw that Super Bikes with the Buell wheelie machine. That was cool, but that was about it. It sucks that SB glamorizes the sportbike "clubs", which are nothing more than street gangs that ride bike together. I get repulsed by the whole thing. |

How would you lose creditably if the 1125R was featured on Superbikes? If It may help Buell lower the average age of it's owners. I would think that would be a good thing. |

Watching a bunch of morons doing twice to triple the legal posted speed, weaving in between cars and wearing their "colors" on their vests(helmets and other gear optional) is not good for motorcycling. To have Speed Channel (aka nascar channel) show this drivel is beyond reproach. No, this is not the place to showcase the engineering of Erik Buell. At least that is my opinion. |

Ok, how about a track day episode on "Epic Ride"? (I'll confess to ER being one of my "guilty pleasures" - void of any real content but fun to watch.) |

Epic Ride is a MUCH better show, at least when they do road racing related stuff. Good call. |

Although I am not a fan of either of the above mentioned shows, I think the publicity gained by Buell would be worthwhile. I still run into people who have never heard of Buell motorcycles. |

Aw, I don't know. Seems the sportbike gangs are just like the outlaw cruiser riders of old, they just want to get drunk and ride their machines and not get hasseled by The Man! |

Still kinda wondering what the pre sales numbers look like. Are they in the 100-200 range or the 900-1000 range?? Also would like to know how many bikes will be built per day. |

I don't think we'll know the #'s till the annual report. FWIW, re: production, I had heard production could be ~50 units a day, but I really don't know how accurate that info is. |

I would GUESS pe-sales are closer to the 900-1000 range. There are three dealerships near me - and all three have presold 5 or more. Just a guess though. |

I just checked today, and I'm the only one with money on the table for the first four coming in at Grove's Harley in Winchester VA. They said there have been quite a few people coming in to look at one (that and HD's Rocker, which is now a Jan Deliver). There's a Nip store next door so I will convenient for some nip riders to stroll over to take a peak. Can I say this again... The first one is mine. well at grove's anyway. |

The first four coming into American Eagle (Corinth, TX) already have deposits on 'em. They will be getting four more after that. |

I ordered one already. I live in Nebraska and we have those bike thugs here also. On my 2006xb9 they would always mess with me while riding around town. And sometimes get more aggressive then i could handle. When i get my 1125r let them try to keep up. |

Sat down with the local salesguy over lunch and hammered out numbers for an 08 XB12Scg and an 08 1125R. Technically didn't put any money down, but the second 1125R will be mine! |
