just wondering what people were using for stiffer springs. i was on ABS, $150. for theres. has anybody used them? what do you think? |

Had my forks tuned with stiffer springs and custom damping internals by local race suspension tuner. Cost too much, but worth it if you're anywhere near the 10k mile factory-recommended fork oil change. There's additional info on this subject in the archives. I have a set of Buell Pro-kit fork springs that I did not use; suspension tuner recommended even heavier springs for my Big & Tall self. These are for 43mm forks ('05 and later, not "low/cg" bikes). Will sell 'em for what I paid, $35+shipping. PM me if interested. |
